Memory: Truth's Vision Ep 7 12:42-onwards

What he's learned: This is one of the few mind-fuck dreams he gets in the series, so it's really weird. He dreams he's returned to his home island to find Naru with a boy looking exactly like him. The only reason Naru knows Ao is the real Ao is because he's holding Noah, her sloth. So the vision breaks and it's revealed the boy is a guy by the name of "Truth". Truth tries to take Naru away because he thinks she's more interesting then Ao, but Ao... you know, refuses to kind of let him do that and chases him all around the island.
Towards the end, Naru falls from one of the FPs and hears Truth telling her that she can fly and so she... sort of stops herself from crash-landing. After this, she completely rejects Ao and says that Truth is her "sea colossus" and decides to go with him.
Ao wakes up after three days of being asleep. He thinks maybe it was just a dream, but there are two girls in the room waiting for him to wake up. One of them (Fleur) tells him about why he was in the hospital and then explains that something happened on his home island... Naru being abducted by Truth was not just a dream.

Shh. I can do a question meme every three months if I want to. Hazel's been in Aather going on nine months, Ron's been here six months, and Ao's on his third month in Eachdraidh! And I've just intro'd a few in both places so now is a good time~ ♥

Memory: "Don't blame them"

What he learns:
Essentially, what Ao learns in this memory is that he's recently been beat for being a foreigner and returned to his home... and it's burning, because the adults hate him and blame him for everything. But his guardian/gramps tells him not to blame them for it or hate them. He explains that they did it because they love this island and it's the only place they have... But even so Ao can't quite agree. This is largely because it's this memory that internalizes his need to not have to say "I'm sorry" to some kid when he's an adult.
He tells gramps to run as far away as he can and runs himself. He still loves this island, too, he still wants to protect it. He's surprised to see a man (Gazelle) and his friends there and they give him a ride to the cavern where the Nirvash Neo is.
When they get there, Gazelle asks why he was going to pilot it when he earlier said he wouldn't do it ever again, especially to protect the adults who beat him. Ao's response is simple:
"I don't want to pilot it. Once I do, I'll be an alien for real. But if I don't, I'm sure I'll regret it one day. Like your old man. I... I don't have to say I'm sorry to some kid!"
He then gets in and places a photo of him and older Eureka on the mantle while the Nirvash boots up. The Nirvash boots up and says "WELCOME HOME AO" which delights him to the point of tears. Together they leave--blow up???-- the cavern

Fourthwalling: Canonly Elena fourth walls things like Madoka Magic and anime seems to be something they have association with. That being said, Ao doesn't really pay attention to it. Fourthwalling is okay though with him! In his world he's aware of alternate realities and different times/worlds. So he'll be confused but chalk it up to that.
Offensive subjects: None! Eureka Seven AO actually goes through quite a few subjects that can be considered difficult, so me and Ao are no stranger to it.

Warnings: None that isn't common in DWRP! There is cases of child endangerment and mistreatment, but those are pretty usual. The only issue I think may cause issues is infant death, but Ao will... not bring that up.
